Sometimes your comments end up being a lot like my first thought upon seeing a listing picture. In this case I thought, "Oh jeez, cue the Choir of Angels for the Washing Machine?"

Maybe it can do more than wash the clothes! Maybe it can act as a time machine, too! Now you can go back in time, and avoid getting that red wine stain on your favorite silk blouse!
Or it can tell fortunes. Or possibly it's like the Charlie's Glass Elevator. At least, you'd think it has to do something extraordinary.
Also, my washing machine? Hey, it's spiffy and all, but it also has STUFF all over the top of it. I thought that was sort of a universal thing. Hence my belief that this is secretly and ill-disguised machine of magical purpose.
